The Kado Family Adventure (Days 5-6: Osaka )
| Day 5 After Kyoto and Nara, we wanted to relax at home (Osaka), so after breakfast Andy, Emiko and me (no Kyouko-chan) went by foot to the acquarium, as the first step in our exploration of Osaka... First we came to visit Tatsuo at his work, so in order to reach the acquarium had to take sevaral trains and one ferry... Tatsuo's world...  Chocolat train (Andy sais "maroon").... Ferry waiting room and ferry itself....  Satanic Tiburon-ballena Man.... I went crazy with so many fishes and acqua creatures!!!!!!!!Sleeping giant ott (nutria)....  Ecuadorian dragon.....  The Joker, I mean, The Penguin...... Flipper.... Manta, raya....  Giant moon-fish (pez-luna, sin exagerar mide como 2 metros!).... Tiburon-ballena!!!!!!!!!! This is a real crab! And a lot of more animals..... After aquarium we ate, and the bad ramen made me wrong. I should listen to the experts qhen they say "dont drink the gravy"....  Bubbles..... We headed to the Osaka castle, but first some deformity mirrors.... Mama, no soy cabezon!  Consecuences of not eating your soup... Approaching the castle... Really close to the castle... Welcoming to the castle!!!! The castle was closed, but I decided to climb the walls. I should confess, my true identity is Kamui, the deserter ninja....  The magnificent Osaka-jo  Nowadays, the castle is in the middle of the business area, so is shocking how the ancient building is in harmony with the modern, aggressive landscape...  We returned home, but before bought the ingredients for the BBQ we had scheduled for that night...Okaasan and Kyouko-chan as the cookmasters...   The firstcomers..... Nobu-san hungry... Cute eaters...  Gross eater... Satisfaction.... After eating for a while, the war hunger was awaken in our hearts, and we fought!!!!!    Post festum, some fireworks, including senko-hanabi....   And that was all for that day...Day 6 Breakfast!  We went to Andy's ancestors tomb, in order for him and Kyouko-chan to present respects. Otousan commented that Andy could conquer such a nice girls as Kyouko-chan is thanks of details like that, that show he is a good man...   From the cemetery area, the view of Osaka is just great...  We had an invitation from Hisao-san and Sakura-chan to have lunch in Osaka-city. Besides it was Sakyra-chan's birthday...   Very interesting serving style. The cook serves the food portion by portion, as soon as he cooks each one... It was delicious! Thanks, Hisao and Sakura!!!!!!! This is the first car produced in Japan. Has only 3 tires... Interesting model representation of ancient Japan...  We went to the roof of the building, known as the Floating Garden Observatory, the 7th highest in Osaka, to sightsee the city from the hights... It was unbelivable HOT!!!!!  That afternoon, the girls and me stayed at home with Okaasan, who introduced us in the art of clay modeling...    That nite, we went to a local festival. The Osaka-city fireworks big festival was believed to be overcrowded, so we choose a closer local festival and went there by train...Going festibale....  Festibale!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was crowded too...    We danced traditional dances, along with a lot of people both performers and visitors...  Here we also met Andy's friend from chilhood and sweet Maki-chan, a young ballerina (and her boyfriend, damn!)...    I asked some yukata girls to have pic ensemble... Back home, Andy's friend came with his baby daughter....   Practice, Andy!!!!!!!! It's a fact, Japanese babies are cuter than foreign ones... We went to the nearest train station to meet the baby's mother. They look alike big time... Andy riding... Me riding... Andy tired, smoking... Next day, departure........ :( |
